Dual and Double Degrees

Saint-Étienne School of Economics (SE²) aims at training decision-makers capable of meeting the economic challenges of today and tomorrow. The School draws on the expertise of its teaching and research staff as well as on its prestigious academic partners to offer dual degree programs that develop multidisciplinary skills.

Sciences Po Lyon

The Political Sciences School Diploma (EcoScPo) gives the opportunity to the students of the Bachelor in Economics (Year 1 and Year 2) to reach a range of courses provided at Sciences Po Lyon first cycle (yet on Saint-Étienne campus). This additional programme brings a significant added value to employement and to further study.
The Dual Degree with Sciences Po Lyon enables selected students to benefit from a flexible timetable so that they can attend both Saint-Étienne School of Economics and Sciences Po Lyon courses. Classes are held on Saint-Étienne campus. This dual programme is an advantage when preparing for entrance exams to the top business schools.

Mines Saint-Étienne (DuAL DEGREES)

Bachelor in Economics :

In the second year of the Civil Engineering programme (ISTM), students at Mines Saint-Étienne can gain access to the third year of the Bachelor's degree in Economics. Then they attend a series of economics courses (taught by both École des Mines and by Saint-Étienne School of Economics), which allows them to earn a Bachelor's degree in Economics alongside their engineering degree.

Master in Data Science and Innovation Management (DSMI) :

Third-year students in the Civil Engineering programme at Mines Saint-Etienne (ISTM) can enrol in either the University Diploma in Economic Intelligence and Innovation Management (IEGI) or in the second year of the Master's in Data Science and Innovation Management. They then attend a series of economics courses taught by Saint-Étienne School of Economics, which allows them to earn the University Diploma in Economic Intelligence and Innovation Management or the Master's Degree in Data Science and Innovation Management alongside their engineering degree.

Master in Economics, Data and Decision Science (EDDS) :

Third-year students in the Civil Engineering programme at Mines Saint-Étienne (ISTM) can enrol in either the ‘Introduction to Political Engineering’ (IPE) university diploma or in the second year of the Master's in Economics, Data and Decision Science. They then attend a series of economics courses taught by Saint-Étienne School of Economics, which allows them to earn the University Diploma in Introduction to Political Engineering or the Master's Degree in Economics, Data and Decision Science alongside their engineering degree.

VilnIus UNIVERISTY - LitHuaniA (Double BACHELOR DEGREE)

Students enrolled in the Bachelor's degree programme in Economics can obtain a double degree in partnership with Vilnius University (Lithuania). To do so, they complete their first two years at Saint-Étienne School of Economics and then their third year at Vilnius University in the "Bachelor in Quantitative Economics" programme.
And vice versa, students from Vilnius University can come to Saint-Étienne School of Economics for the Year 3 of their Bachelor and get a double degree.
It allows students to earn two bachelor's degrees in the same time it takes to complete one.

UniversitY of Cagliari - ItalY (Double BACHELOR Degree)

Students enrolled in the Bachelor's degree programme in Economics can obtain a double degree with the University of Cagliari (Italy). To achieve this, students attend courses for the 5 first semesters at Saint-Étienne School of Economics and then they go to the University of Cagliari to attend courses of the "Bachelor in Economics and Finance" for Semester 6.
And vice versa, students from the University of Cagliari can come to Saint-Étienne School of Economics for the 5th semester of their Bachelor degree and get a dual degree.
It allows students to earn two bachelor's degrees in the same time it takes to complete one.

Université du Québec à Chicoutimi - CANADA

Students from Master Data Science and Innovation Management can get, on top of their French Master diploma, a "maîtrise en Gestion des Organisations" of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). To achieve this, students attend courses of their first year of Master at UQAC and their second year of Master at Saint-Étienne School of Economics.
Students from Master Regions and Transitions can get, on top of their French Master diploma, a "maîtrise en Études et interventions régionales" of the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC). To achieve this, students attend courses of their first year of Master at UQAC and their second year of Master at Saint-Étienne School of Economics.
And vice versa, students from UQAC can get a double master's degree by attending courses of their 1st year of Master in Chicoutimi and by coming to Saint-Étienne School of Economics for their 2nd year of Master.
It allows students to earn two master's degrees in the same time it takes to complete one.
