An international outlook
An international outlook is key to understand and analyse today’s global economy. To equip students for careers that will involve working abroad or with international partners, Saint-Étienne School of Economics (SE²) offers courses in English from Year 1 of the Bachelor's degree as well as a range of possibilities for studying abroad.
A strong international focus
Thanks to our partnerships with the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (UQAC), Vilnius University in Lithuania, the University of Cagliari in Sardinia and a range of European universities through Erasmus+, students have various possibilities to study abroad.
All our studies, from Bachelor to Master programmes, are recognised internationally
The influence of the research carried out by SE² lecturers and researchers increases school reputation.
We aim at increasing inbound and outbound student mobility and at developing a strategy based on mobility agreements targeting universities that are members of Transform4Europe (T4EU) alliance.
According to a survey led by Erasmus+ agency, 64% of employers think that the experience of studying abroad adds a significant value in terms of recruitment, and 64% of graduates with experience of studying abroad said they were given greater responsibilities at the workplace.

Arnaud Deygas, graduated of Master Data Science and Innovation Management:
"After getting my high school diploma, where I had followed specific courses in Economics and Social Scienceq, I chose Economics studies at Saint-Étienne. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to graduate from an university in Scotland through Erasmus program. It’s a real asset today in my role as a Salesforce Consultant, in which I need to be responsive, curious and speak English fluently on a daily basis."
