Finance your studies / SE² Scholarships

SAINT-ETIENNE SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS (SE²) provides a wide range of grants or scholarships to the students to partially or totally finance their studies (in addition to grants based on social or academic criteria offered elsewhere). Students can apply for these scholarships which will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence and attendance criteria.

EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship for the students of SE² enrolled in the M2, M1 or L3 programs, awarded on excellence academic criteria.

Amounts of scholarships

• Grant payment: 600 euros per month for 10 months
• Number of scholarships awarded: 2

Eligibility criteria

• Completed application form
• Acceptance in a program of the Saint-Etienne School of Economics (SE²)
• Excellence Scholarship cannot be combined with other SE2 excellence scholarship schemes and apprenticeship contracts, but it can be combined with alternative scholarships based on social criteria

INcOmING INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

International attractiveness ingoing scholarships designed for international students for their integration in the programs of the school of economics (SE²). Awarded on excellence academic criteria.

Amounts of scholarships

• Grant payment: 600 euros per month for 10 months
• Number of scholarships awarded: 6

Eligibility criteria

• Completed application form
• Acceptance in a program of the Saint-Etienne School of Economics (SE²)
• Registered student abroad for at least the last three years; applications are possible for students who have been in France for less than a year
• Excellence Scholarship cannot be combined with other SE² excellence scholarship schemes and apprenticeship contracts, but it can be combined with alternative scholarships based on social criteria

OUTGOING MOBILITY SCHOLARSHIP

Outgoing mobility scholarships to help the students of the school of economics (SE²) to study abroad (with Erasmus, specific partnerships, other programs)

Amounts of scholarships

• Grant payment: 200 to 1,000 euros per year
• Number of scholarships awarded: 14

Eligibility criteria

• Completed application form
• Acceptance in a program of the Saint-Etienne School of Economics (SE²)
• Acceptance in a international exchange program to study in a foreign university
• Outgoing mobility scholarship can be combined with other scholarships in favor of mobility

RESEARCH INTERNSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

Grant aiming to finance a research scholarship at the laboratory GATE Lyon Saint-Etienne, campus Saint-Etienne, in line with a professional project in academics.

Amounts of scholarships

• Grant paid at the legal per hour rate (around environ 600€/month) min. 2 months / max. 6 months
• Number of grants awarded : 4 grants

Eligibility criteria

• Completed application form
• Enrollment in Master 1 or Master 2; open to students from other universities
• Project of Master Thesis at GATE Lyon Saint-Etienne, Saint-Etienne Campus, and a professional project in Academics
• Excellence Scholarship cannot be combined with other SE² excellence scholarship schemes, but it can be combined with alternative scholarships based on social criteria
