The Eiffel Scholarship Program of Excellence

Call for applications is open until January 10, 2024

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.

It gives opportunity to the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study, and encourages applicants up to 25 years old from developing countries at master’s level, and applicants up to 30 years old from developing and industrialized countries at PhD level.

2024 CAMPAIGN TIMELINE

  • Opening of the call for applications: week of September 18, 2023
  • Deadline for the reception of applications by Campus France:  January 10, 2024 included.
  • Publication of results: week of 1 April, 2024

REGULATIONS

 

Only applications submitted by French higher education institutions are accepted.

  • You are an institution and you have already participated in the Eiffel program => You should have received an email concerning the download of application files. If that is not the case, please contact us (candidatures.eiffel @ campusfrance.org).

  • You are an institution participating for the first time in the Eiffel Program => Please Contact us (candidatures.eiffel @ campusfrance.org) in order download the application files.

French government grants

These grants (also awarded by the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs) are awarded through the network of French embassies and the Campus France offices.

Specific scholarships awarded by the Saint-Étienne School of Economics

  • Incoming mobility grants

SE² awards scholarships for international students (€600 per month over 10 months). These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence. To apply, the student must first have been accepted into one of the school's training programs. Applications must be submitted between April 15 and May 30.

  • Outgoing mobility grants

SE² awards scholarships (€1500 for the year) for students of the school wishing to go abroad as part of their training. To apply, the student must be registered in one of the school's training programs and have been accepted into an international exchange program to study at a foreign university. Applications must be submitted between April 15 and May 30.
