The French Ministry for Foreign Affairs awards scholarships (€1,180 per month, for 9 to 24 months) to students with excellent academic results from developing countries and eastern European countries.

The following selection criteria apply:

- Students must be under the age of 25 at the time of application via Campus France.
- The scholarship programme is aimed at foreign students. Candidates with French nationality, even if they are also nationals of another country, are not eligible.

Candidates wishing to apply for an Eiffel scholarship must apply in November following our procedure (see deadline dates for applications).

French government grants

These grants (also awarded by the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs) are awarded through the network of French embassies and the Campus France offices.
